I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been working in this field for 14 years. My primary goal is to provide you with a safe space in which you can take time for yourself and improve your living. Feelings are natural but they are not always comfortable and helpful. I can help you sort through your thoughts and feelings to discover ways in which living and relating can be easier for you.
I have a multi-modal approach to therapy - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Person-centered. I supplement this work with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in working with stress management, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. Beyond this, I also work with individuals that are going through a difficult phase in their life or are coping with a loss.
